I’m big fan of Miss Malini’s blog, the place for thee juiciest bollywood gossip, { I am after all your typical Bollywood geek} so its pretty awesome that i get to blog her wedding pictures.
Thanks to the massively talented Rahul de Cunha @ Tree Media & Extensions, he also did her pre wed pictures which I feel fell in love with last year {very fun & quirky}
As she’s a Celebrity Blogger it was only natural that she blog about the built up to the wedding {we blogger’s like to document everything} and the wedding adventure began, naming it The Domestically Challenged Desi Bride she gave all the details of her up and coming hip beach wedding!
Lucky girl she had the joy of having two weddings, the first one was in Dhaka held in December 2011 which was traditional with an Akht-Gaye Holud-Reception, and the second one was more for friends in a fun filled beach wedding in Goa on February 2012 with mehendi-sangeet-baraat-pheras-cocktails at Montego Bay and Marbela Beach Resort in Morjim Goa
As she wanted a stress free she looked to none other than Candice & Jarret at Marry Me – The Wedding Planners, who spent months putting together every detail
Malini said
“Having them on board was by far the most amazing decision we ever made”
” When I walked into my mehendi I was blown away by how beautifully it had been all put together and it was very evidently a labour of love (same for the sangeet and reception.) The reason I would recommend Marry Me to every bride and all my yet-to-be-married friends is because everyone always tells you that weddings are stressful & traumatic to put together, but if you have planners with impeccable taste and excellent execution skills you will actually be able to thoroughly enjoy your own wedding like we did ours. Our planners were so well organized and in tune with our vision throughout that the whole process was a delight and I want to do it all over again!”
For her wedding pheras MissMalini went traditional, wearing a beautiful Anita Dongre lehenga. I noticed a little tip she gave if your also planning a beach wedding was to have your lehenga shortened slightly, just like she did so it wouldn’t drag in the sand. The jewellery was from Anmol Jewelers Bandra (they did Shilpa Shetty and Lara Dutta’s wedding jewellery too!)
