| vintage rose wedding cake |
This obsession began when I was exhibiting at a wedding fair and a stand near buy had some stunning vintage birdcages and tea cups on display as centrepieces, I was in awe from then on I have been exploring ideas on how to incorporate a vintage theme in an Asian wedding.
Asian bridal dresses and jewellery often has stunning pearl work in it , and the whole concept of vintage is usually quite pearly, ribbons, lace etc so how can we not incorporate such similarities.
From a bridal lengha to the wedding cake to invitations a stunning theme oozing vintage can be created to look spectacular.

Bear with me peeps but remember back in the days, I don’t know about your mum’s but my mum had some really traditional tea cups which I hated serving when guests came, but what do you know now they have become vintage and I’m full of ideas on how they can be turned in to centrepieces for an Asian wedding. For example to add an Asian twist to Vintage try some traditional red roses in a birdcage
We Asians have a tendency to run from vintage as it is neither traditional nor contemporary that’s why it is so unique, and I think vintage will be the next big thing for Asian weddings.
